It looks like a lot of Queen fans are going to start wanting a lot of Adam Lambert. The American Idol runner up is said to be going on tour with Queen this summer. Adam performed on countless occasions with Queen but there was nothing official since you know, some people might not like the fact that he is taking over for Freddy Mercury. Last year, Adam performed with Queen at the EMA’s and there was lots of backlash regarding the performance. People said that there is no way this this could be the new Queen because it just can’t be the same. But Lambert cleared everything up by saying…
There’s no intention in my mind of replacing Freddie. That’s impossible. The way I’m choosing to view it is that it’s a great honour and one I’m in no way going to shirk.
Great! I’m excited for this, I wonder how people would feel about them making new music. Perhaps they should ditch the name “Queen” and come up with a new one so Freddy fans don’t get mad?
