Ryan Tedder and B.O.B. team up to produce a song that we can call “so good”.  Almost as catchy as “Airplanes” featuring Hayley Williams from Paramore, B.O.B. is gearing up to release his album in May called Strange Clouds. The song is all about vacation fantasy, wanting to go to a beach down in Mexico with your favourite Senorita. A dream for most of us, and we can live it by listening to this awesome-awesome (had to say it twice) song.

Ryan Tedder seems to be the man to work with. He’s responsible for Beyonce’s “Halo”, Kelly Clarkson’s “Already Gone” and Adele’s “Rumour Has It”…3 songs who have got MAJOR radio play. Yes that means, that if your an up and coming artist you might want to work this this guy.

B.O.B. is rolling in the success of his last album “The Adventures of Bobby Ray” but he is ready to make more. The HIT maker is in talks of working on new stuff right now that even may have a reggae feel to it. B.O.B is ready to release his album for later this year but he told RAP-UP.com that it isn’t going to be ‘feature’ heavy. If you were expecting part two of Hayley William’s Airplanes…I’m sorry. But I think it’s very safe to say that B.O.B. now has his name out their so we wouldn’t mind hear a track with just HIM on it. Also for the ‘reggae’ vibe he is trying to tackle. Think about the ‘lazy song’ with Bruno Mars, that had a slight reggae vibe to it but B.O.B’s will be more hip-hop.

Looks like his next single will have the reggae sound to it and I’m not complaining. ALSO if your seeing Rihanna in Toronto this summer…he is opening up for her!

So word on the street is that the Glee-tastic Gwyneth Paltrow is in’talks’ of releasing an album. This doesn’t surprise me, seems like these days she is being featured more of a singer then an actress. Maybe it’s a way of the industry trying to tell her something, she has a pretty good voice! It all started when she had her guest star roll on Glee. Then it went to her performing at the Grammy’s with Cee-Lo which could have arguably been the most exciting performances of the night. Continuing on with her mini singing tour, she topped it off when she performed at the Oscars a couple of weekends ago. So if I were Gwyneth I would be thinking about releasing an album as well. She is in negotiations with Atlantic Records to release an album and if she signs Sean Paul, B.O.B, and James Blunt would be among her label mates!

SIGN THE CONTRACT!

This song is such a feel-good song. The girl who wrote Miley Cyrus’s Party in the U.S.A just released her new single called “Price Tag” with B.O.B. I am IMPRESSED with this song! It had such a classic Lauryn Hill vibe to it, it immediately has you swaying back and forth. Not to mention Jesse pulls off many different looks in this video. Looks like we’re going to know her for her star-studded lips…she did it in her first video “Do It Like A Dude” and now she is doing it in “Price Tag” check it out!

I’m watching you Jesse J, can’t wait for an album!

I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, WISH right now – ah -ow. B.O.B what can I say? Huge singles like “Nothin on you feat Bruno Mars” and my personal favorite “Airplanes Featuring Hayley Williams”. Seems like collabo’s are B.O.B’s specialty however there is no doubting that this rapper has TALENT. I find his voice is very Kanye West-esque but his music has hints of that classic B.I.G. vibe. He had a huge 2010! He is up for 5 Grammy’s and not only that but he was named iTunes best selling New Artist. B.O.B is the fresh talent we needed on the radio and now his music is just taking over. Think about it, how many times did you turn on your radio and Airplanes was playing? I can’t even count anymore!

bet you didn’t know this: he is signed to T.I. (what is up with the acronyms) label “Grand Hustle”!

I see a big 2011 for this rapper! He should embark on a tour and we know we all love new music! B.O.B has a new single out called “MAGIC” take a listen…ALSO if you don’t have it already his album “The Adventures of Bobby Ray” is out now and it is SO worth listening to.
