X-Factor finds some new judges!

Lovatics and Britney Spears fans rejoice! Two of your favourite superstars will be series regulars on the oh so popular show “X-Factor”. Ultimately taking the place of Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger. Based on the picture above, seems like Demi has been waiting to meet Britney Spears for a while. The Simon Cowell enforced show learned that the show was on the hunt for some new judges. Many names were passed along like Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston but it sounds like Britney Spears and Demi Lovato nabbed the spots. Ttat means they will act as mentors to a group of contenstants to help them suceed. Kind of like the Voice, but more like American Idol more importantly we’ll get to see Britney Spears actually TALK. Demi Lovato seems very young to be a judge but I think she has enough experience to give some insight into the industry plus her pipes are ones to admire. I’m not sure the angle Britney Spears is going to be judging at but I know because of her this show will PULL in the ratings.

Looking into the future of the show, Demi Lovato will stick around and Britney Spears will phase out, announce an album near the season finale and go off on tour. Think about how J-LO used American Idol as a platform, it’s the perfect way to build up an entirely new fan-base, stay relevant and make people like you through your charming personality.

Can’t wait to see how these two do!

Katy Perry to make her triumphant return to the MMVA’s this year!

KATY PERRY IS PERFORMING AT THE 2012 MMVA’s! Katy Perry will become a part of the MMVA’s again this year after performing California Girls a couple of years back. A memorable performance that was full of colours and candy was one of the best performances of the night back in 2010. Now MuchMusic says she is performing but WHO WILL CO-HOST? So far co-hosts have been Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, and Selena Gomez. A little bit of a Disney trend but who will host this year?

These are my top 5 picks for co-hosts for this year:

  • One Direction
  • Demi Lovato
  • The Wanted
  • Justin Bieber
  • The girls from Pretty Little Liars.

Who do you want to co-host? Either way it’ll be an amazing show.

Demi Lovato. Nuff said.

(but in a brief explaination: this is her new single off of her album “UnBroken”. Last night I tweeted about the album saying that you must listen to it even if your not a Demi fan. The album is a masterpiece.)

She has an awesome voice, doesn’t she? The video isn’t anything to complicated but it reminds me of Rihanna’s We Found Love and Katy Perry’s The One That Got Away.

Is Demo Lovato is rehab again or not?

There is lots of speculation going on about Demi Lovato’s return to rehab. The singer who had one of the most public recoveries from bulimia, drug abuse and more is now in the center of a media whirlwind because everyone thinks she went back to being the same old Demi. This time she is said to be going back to rehab for cocaine abuse and the million other issues she has. As a Demi fan I feel terrible because realistically she had a great recovery and it’s great that she is seeking help again but how did she get back to square one? I think it has to do with her break up with Fez aka Wilder Valderrama who could have sent her over the edge. Lovato’s reps are denying reports that she is back I rehab but they couldn’t confirm whether or not she is sober aka she is probably still doing drugs!

Demi Lovato names her next single :)

While doing press for her album Unbroken, Demi Lovato was promoting her song Who’s That Boy feat Dev as her next single. While fans patiently waited for Demi to come out with the video for the song, a quick switch up was made and now her new single is going to be Give Your Heart A Break!

I can see the direction she is trying to go in. Demi is pushing all the inspriational songs as singles because that’s the effect she is having on everyone right now. She wants to show people that if she can recover, then you can to.

Good choice on the new single…

The strings in it sound SICK and I love me some Demi Lovato.

Demi Lovato learns “How To Love”

This girl is on a roll. Demo Lovato is currently playing intimate shows in L-A and New York (not anywhere close to Canada:() but word is she is putting on one hell of a show. Usually when we go see artists in concert they include some covers in their set list just to mix things up. For instance when I saw Beyonce she performed a cover of Alanis Morrisette’s “Outta Know” or Katy Perry performed Rebecca Black’s “Friday”. Hey! NO one said they had to cover classics.

How to Love: The fresh new Demi Lovato is performing more pop songs these days in an attempt to make it big on the radio.  The video features Demi Lovato performing the radio-adored Lil Wayne song and even forgetting some of the words. It’s so nice to watch! Makes you genuinely happy. I won’t be surprised if this video makes you an even bigger fan of her.

Demi Lovato just KILLIN’ it!

H O L D U P! Demi Lovato just brought a whole new game to the industry with her new single “All Night Long”. Not only is the beat a Timbaland classic but Missy Elliot spits a rap that makes your legs quiver. (I know that’s a little bit weird, but think “Get Ur Freak On”)

The song talks about the chase of getting someone to like you. From the putting the number in your phone, to eye-ing them up…this song explains the process on one of the sickest beats right now. Only only will this song blow up on radio but I feel like it’s going to SKY ROCKET Demi Lovato’s album sales.

Listen because I know you won’t regret it. It’s catchy, pop and just what Demi needs to prove everyone she is here to stay. Haters ain’t got nothin’ on her.

Demi Lovato is ‘almost’ BACK

Who would have thought this Disney Princess would have had to go to rehab. Demi Lovato made headlines when she was sent to a rehabilitation clinic for emotional and physical issues. Apparently she beat up one of her back-up dancers ‘just because’. Not cool, so because of her behavior they sent her to rehab and she is supposivley all recovered! I NEVER saw this coming because Demi Lovato seemed like one of the most gentle girls out there! Who knew she was kickin’ ass.


Can Demi come back? I don’t know, this is a pretty big scandal! But it had NOTHING to do with drugs or alcohol. So I think when she is released if she gives a statement to what really happened. She can resume shooting of her show ‘Sonny with a Chance’.

What about the MUSIC?: Demi Lovato has such a great voice! It sounds similar to Hayley Williams from Paramore with a little bit of soul to it. Her music was great, just not a lot of people picked up on it!

I wonder if it was the pressure of the ‘industry’ that made her turn a little crazy. Who knows!
