Ying Yang Twins RETURN! Bieber style + Bieber the Momma’s Boy!

The Ying Yang Twins return from a weird hiatus to drop a verse on the song everyone is talking about “Boyfriend”. The verse isn’t anything to spectacular. It just shows up that the Ying Yang Twins appreciate the fact that everyone is saying the song sounds like their song “Wait(The Whisper Song)”…aka the best song ever. I’m not a fan of it, I rather listen to the original but I will say it’s cool that they acknowledged the Bieber track.

In other Bieber news! He released his highly anticipated Mothers Day song! The track that is all about his mothers struggle to raise him. He also talks about how his Mom will always be there for him and how he does everything for her. It’s such a beautiful song on Biebers part. To drop a song about his Mom for Mother’s Day. Shows a heavy appreciation for his Mom and makes the whole world fall in love with him even more. I like the song, it’s a very mature Bieber finally showing his appreciation for life and also very matured voice.

Good on yah Biebz.

Dissapointed, or not dissapointed? Well the Director X video shattered some YOUTUBE records over the weekend. You know, nothing too surprising. But let’s talk about the actual video. The video kicks off with a edgy dark Justin Bieber channeling some Michael Jackson moves. I thought we would be in store for a grown up Bieber video but before we go to the pre-chorus the video cuts off and shows two girls in the car. Oh, here we go. The video continues with some simple choreography, glamour shots and Bieber having a video girl that he is whispering and licking his lips to. Same old Bieber, not the edgy Justin I thought we were in store for.

Dissapointed, but great song.

Katy Perry to make her triumphant return to the MMVA’s this year!

KATY PERRY IS PERFORMING AT THE 2012 MMVA’s! Katy Perry will become a part of the MMVA’s again this year after performing California Girls a couple of years back. A memorable performance that was full of colours and candy was one of the best performances of the night back in 2010. Now MuchMusic says she is performing but WHO WILL CO-HOST? So far co-hosts have been Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, and Selena Gomez. A little bit of a Disney trend but who will host this year?

The Billboard Awards are coming. . .a TOP 40 fans dream.

The award show that last year created many headlines is back this year in full effect. The award show will take place on May 20th and will feature performanced by LMFAO, Carrie Underwood, The Wanted, and …JUSTIN BIEBER!

Adele leads the pack with 18 nominations which she’ll probably win and everyone from Rihanna to Lil Wayne to Lady Gaga are nominated. Those are the performers that have been announced so far but they promise more performers will be announced soon.

Should be a jam-packed performance filled award show with a lot to tweet about.

Black Eyed Bieber!

Oh you Beliebers are going to go ape sh*t over these photos! On the cover of Complex Magazine, Justin Bieber can be seeing being beat-up and icing his poor little face with a big piece of steak. Probably from Gaga’s meat dress. The headline of the magazine is “Growing Pains” and they interview him about growing up in the spotlight, Michael Jackson and his third upcoming album.

A very interesting concept for an magazine, but I must say it look’s pretty cool. The underlying theme is growing up, but I think it also has to do with all of his haters and how much they constantly ‘bash’ him. But at the end of the day he always ends up being the champ. Hence, the picture with the belt above!

We are all waiting to hear his new single “Boyfriend” but in the meantime we have to look to sources who say it sounds like old Justin Timberlake. I will be the judge of that! It should sound amazing, I mean anything this guy makes is great and people can’t get enough of him.

Like Mila Kunis, Justin Timberlake and Justin Bieber did…A story surfaced that Taylor Swift is going on a date with at 18 year old boy with cancer. I love this story. Kevin McGuire is watching his dreams come true right before his eyes. McGuire’s sister took to the social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter to start campaigning to get T-Wizzle to go to prom with him. Although she couldn’t make it to prom, she was turned the tables and ask HIM to the Country Music Awards.

For a kid who has struggled with an unfortunate disease for most of his life, it’s great that Taylor Swift is giving back. To be cheesy, if you really want something…go out and get it!

Kevin did and now he gets to go on a date with Taylor Swift.

Live My Life VS What Is Love

Far East Movement just released a new song called “Live My Life” featuring Justin Bieber. The safe club banger will no doubt take over your radio very soon thanks to the accompaniment by Biebers grown up vocals. Produced by hit-maker Red One, Justin Bieber sings lyrics like “”I’m gonna live my life…No matter what…We party tonight”…awh do you hear that? Bieber is REALLY growing up. But while listening to the song that will be featured on Far East Movement’s new album Dirty Bass coming out soon, I released that the chords or melody or something is very similar.

So after thinking back to my club days, scanned through some 90′s song and came across Haddaway’s What Is Love. You have to admit…the resemblance is there! Which is why this song will do oh so well.

Watch out Selena, Justin Bieber married a fan!

Well it’s not what you think, it’s just good old Biebs being that great citizen he always is. Justin Bieber took time out of his busy swagalicious schedule to visit Avalanna Routh who was diagonised with a rare type of brain cancer when she was just nine months old. The little girl has had many surgeries, chemo, and radiation. Avalanna would go around wearing a shirt that says “The Future Mrs. Bieber” and all of her little dreams came true when she finally got to meet him. Family and friends took to Facebook to create a group and hey if I know one thing about Bieber, he’s like jesus…he’s always watching! On their little date they took pictures, styled eachothers hair and played Candyland!

Reese Witherspoon disses Bieber (but before you judge Beliebers, read the story)

   Justin Bieber wants to break into acting and Reese Witherspoon isn’t bending but snapping about it. It’s no surprise that the teen-sensation wants to break into acting because let’s get real that’s how you get real star credibility. Bieber wants to remake the 1996 thirller “Fear” which starred Reese Witherspoon and Mark Wahlberg. When Reese was asked about what she though about it she said

Fine. Great. That would be cool. Would he be playing me or Mark Whalberg?”

OUCH! Obviously she didn’t like the idea of Bieber putting his name on a film she orginally did. Which is understandable because any legacy that Fear had would be lived in through Bieber and not her. She saved her self by saying

He’s very talented,” she said. “I didn’t know much about him until I saw the documentary ["Never Say Never"] and I thought that was really worthwhile and worth seeing, and it made me think, ‘What a sweetheart.’”

Justin Bieber. . . 5 years ago!

Well as per a very hardcore Justin Bieber fan (@smileysuha), I was reminded that it’s been 5 years since Justin Bieber created his YOUTUBE account (that got him famous). Looking back 5 years, could you believe that there was NO JUSTIN BIEBER on the charts? I find that hard to believe since the teen that is taking over the world is all we can talk about these days. Justin Bieber’s high-profile relationship with Selena Gomez, to his highly successful christmas album “Mistletoe” has all of the beliebers waiting anxiously for his new album called “Believe”. Justin Bieber continues to be thankful for the people who ‘believed’ in his music and that now he is as successful as successful gets.

When Justin Bieber first came out I had a hard time seeing the longevity in his career but now I see him as an actual great muscian who once again, is taking over the world. Although some of you might not agree, you have to agree with me when I say…

Who run the world? Bieber.

While people are going currrrrrrrrazy over the Justin Beiber taping of “Home For the Holidays” going down tomorrow, news stations like CP24 are calling the Biebs the Prince of Pop!

I couldn’t agree with that more. It’s been a while since we have seen fans go absolutely crazy for someone. When the Backstreet boys and NSYNC were popular…I remember seeing fans on T-V waiting for hours to get a glimpse of one of the boy bands. Now fans are doing the same for Justin Bieber. The concert that is said to have to hottest ticket in town will air on T-V but everyone wants to see Justin in the flesh!

What makes Justin Bieber the Prince of Pop is that fact that he sells a lot more then most artists, and his fan base starts riots.

It’s what makes you an icon…doesn’t sound that safe, but hey if you have crazy fans you are ‘in’.

The Revival of the Billboard Music Awards / the Beyonce Music Awards

Last night was ALL ABOUT BEYONCE at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards. The award show that was CUT off the air for a couple of years made for a HELL of a come back. Opening the show as Rihanna with her raunchy hit “S&M”. As soon as Rihanna hit the stage Britney Spears sent out a tweet that said “I Like It, Like It” which meant that home girl was coming out!

Did she come out? DUH!

Although Rihanna RIPPED up the stage, when Britney came out…it was a whole lot of AWKWARDNESS! (not a word, I’m aware ;) ) The thing with Britney is that she needs to LOOSEN UP…she seemed so uncomfortable with the pole dancing and the random pillow fight at the end. I think someone forgot to turn on the lights…I miss the OLD Britney.

Who had the BEST PERFORMANCE?

Who run the WORLD? BEYONCE! While Beyonce was getting awarded for excellence throughout the MANY years of her career. She was gearing up for the performance of a life time. “Who Run The World (Girls)” didn’t seem to be a radio favorite or a fan favorite, but I guarantee after seeing this performance…you’ll fall in love. Beyonce dances in front of a video screen without missing a BEAT…her main thing was that SHE HAD TO BE ON TIME or else the dance would look off. I think it’s safe to say that Beyonce was MORE on time than the video screen. (skip to the 3:00 min mark)

Most awkward performance:

NICKI MINAJ…betcha didn’t think I was going to say that one. The QUEEN of loosening up and being all CRAZY seemed a bit ‘tight’ when she performed her new single “Super-Bass”. Her performance that was even equipped with a surprise Britney cameo for their remix of “Till The World Ends” didn’t seem to ‘surprise’ or have the audience going O-M-G Nicki is amazing. But because she is still ‘new’ in the game I’ll cut her some slack and give her the credit for at least GETTING to the stage, being nominated…it was her first award show performance ever. It was like seeing your kid off to school for the first time.

WHO KNEW SHE COULD SING award goes to:

Ke$ha! Ke$ha opened her performance with a song called “Animal” off of her album and SLAYED It. She sang her ass off AND danced her ass off. She was on her game, and if we keep on seeing more performances like this Ke$ha will be even BIGGER than she already is. I think next to Beyonce she had one of the BEST performances of the night. “throw some glittah, make it RAIN”

Honorable mentions:

Cee-Lo Green took the stage for a MEDLEY of hits and reminded us WHY he makes good music. He did a mash-up of “Crazy”, “Forget You” and more hits.

Taio-Cruz won his first award EVER! …I bet he is throwing his hands up in the air ‘sometimes’.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are SO CUTE…however their ‘hugs’ and ‘kisses’ seemed a bit PLANNED throughout the night. But you can’t deny that they are the definition of a “teenage love affair” cue the Alicia Keys track…
