The MMVA’s are right around the corner. One of the most exciting award shows of all time will take place on June 19th 2011. Selena Gomez is said to be co-hosting and Lady Gaga is also set to perform. BOOM BOOM BOOM! How could it get any better? WELL…MuchMusic added Down With Webster, Fefe Dobson, Far East Movement Feat Dev, and SIMPLE plan to their already HOT list of performers.

I wasn’t sure how Much would compare to last year…but I think with these latest additions it’s going to be HUGE!

So many speculations…is Selena going to bring Bieber? With Fefe Dobson cry when she performs her break-up song “Can’t Breath”? Will Down With Webster be QUESTIONED about firing one of their band mates? ……SO MANY QUESTIONS and ONE BIG SHOW TO LOOK FORWARD TOO.

Can’t freakin’ wait!

Dev IS HOT.

After doing some PRESS in Toronto. Dev has created QUITE the buzz for herself in Canada. The ‘voice’ of our favourite songs “Like A G-6″ and “Bass Down Low” stopped off at New.Music.Live for a performance and interview with Phoebe! She revealed that she use to live with the Cataracs, and that her album will drop THIS SUMMER. Very exciting…she is one of those artist that have you wondering if she is going to be a ONE-HIT wonder or not. Well after seeing her perform on the show I realized that Dev carries more swag and confidence with her than any of us could ever comprehend. I was SO surprised by the way she carried herself and that sexy voice we hear in the music is EXACT when she is performing it. NO auto-tune happening there folks, pure sexiness of a voice coming through those pipes. Dev is on my WATCH list. It seems like every single she touches turns to GOLD.

I like my beats fast and my BASS DOWN LOW. Go to http://newmusiclive.ca to see the LIVE performance. IT was EpIC.

ATTENTION ALL TORONTO GLEEKS. The cast of Glee is coming to the Air Canada Center on June 11th. That is SO huge, considering MILLIONS of canadians tune into Glee every week. This show is MOST likely going to sell out. Tickets go on sale soon. They have PLENTY of songs to perform and I wonder what the show is going to look like. As soon as the cast touches down in Toronto I can tell you that it is going to be PANDEMONIUM everywhere. Not to mention the weekend after is the MMVA’s. Crazy fans in Toronto two weeks in a row…BRING IT!

I can’t believe a cast from a T-V show is going on tour…and has potential to sell-out the A-C-C.

CRAZINESS!

Will you be going?

Justin Bieber was in TORONTO today.

February 1st, 2011 | Posted by marksuknanan in gossip - (0 Comments)

Bieber Fever struck in all forms today at 299 Queen Street West. On New.Music.Live Justin Bieber stopped by to chat with the hosts about his upcoming film Never Say Never 3-D. I saw some previews of the film and I must say…it doesn’t look half bad. It shows him growing up as a kid using his talents to WOW people. It just shows that Justin Bieber is more than just (as he said at Much) a pre-packaged image. Can’t beleive he got his own movie though to go to theatres. Pretty huge for a 16 year old to get his own movie IN THREE-D! So awesome on so many levels.

What I think about Bieber: Really and truly he has TOO many haters. You know maybe sometimes he seems a little cocky or whatever. But realistically he is one of the biggest things to come out of Canada for a while. He has taken over the world with all of this Bieber Fever and most importantly his music isn’t THAT BAD. It’s catchy….your just hating.

I am not a #1 fan or anything, but Bieber is doing well!

MUCHMUSIC brings Pretty Little Liars to you guys every Monday at 8 P-M. I’m sure many of you have heard about it but what is all the hype out? Four of the HOTTEST new comers Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell and Torian Avery Bellisario star in this one-of-a-kind show all centering solving the murder of their friend Alison. Throughout the show they get texts, emails and every kind of social networking message from a person called “A”. Threating their lives, reputations and secrets…the Girls must find out WHO A is once and for all!

Should you be watching? YES YOU SHOULD BE, not only are these ladies HOT eye candy but the story line keeps you on edge all throughout. Pretty Little Liars sounds like it’s a chick show, but fellas let me advise you that this is everything but a chick show. There is death, scandals and these four girls involved…what more do we need? The show doesn’t seem like it is going to have a long run because once they find out who A is…then what?

Just announced: The cast of Pretty Little Liars is chillin’ at MuchMusic next Thursday on their hit show New.Music.Live for an entire HOUR! To get in follow http://twitter.com/NML

you better be watching, no excuses?

Kardi-O hittin’ up T-O

January 15th, 2011 | Posted by marksuknanan in music | tv - (0 Comments)

MuchMusic’s new show Rap City came back with a vengeance this past Thursday! Not only are they keeping their audience up-to-date with everything to do with the urban music scene. BUT they will have lots and lots of guests. They just announced that Kardinal Offishall will be stopping by the show on January 20th and also on that show they have a pre-taped interview with the one and only Drake!

WHOA WHOA WHOA. Rap City is coming back with fiyah! If you don’t know who Kardinal Offishall is, his last ‘big’ song was ‘Dangerous’ with Akon. Kardinal is planning to release an album this year and he is hopefully going to talk about it this Thursday. In 2007 he signed to Akon’s label Konvict music and that is when he came out with his album Not 4 Sale. From releasing mix tapes, to signing to a huge label Kardinal is still on his way to becoming an inspiring Canadian urban music ‘icon’…that is if he isn’t already there yet.

As we all know, MUCHMUSIC is one of my favorite TV stations of all time. Whenever they announce new shows, new hosts new whatever….I get a little excited. In hopes to one day they will announce a show and say MARK SUKNANAN is the host :O. How cool would that be? *following the dream, following the dream*. A lot of T-V shows now-a-days are reality shows, regular script driven shows, or count down shows. Well to add to their brand-new ALL MUSIC new show New.Music.Live, MuchMusic announced that they are bringing back The Wedge and Rap City! Both music-driven shows with all new music to bring you. Rap City will deliver fresh urban music and The Wedge will bring you more cutting edge underground indie rock. I am very excited because they are revamping the shows and making them all new for a launch in the next couple of weeks!

Will you be watching?
