Lovatics and Britney Spears fans rejoice! Two of your favourite superstars will be series regulars on the oh so popular show “X-Factor”. Ultimately taking the place of Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger. Based on the picture above, seems like Demi has been waiting to meet Britney Spears for a while. The Simon Cowell enforced show learned that the show was on the hunt for some new judges. Many names were passed along like Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston but it sounds like Britney Spears and Demi Lovato nabbed the spots. Ttat means they will act as mentors to a group of contenstants to help them suceed. Kind of like the Voice, but more like American Idol more importantly we’ll get to see Britney Spears actually TALK. Demi Lovato seems very young to be a judge but I think she has enough experience to give some insight into the industry plus her pipes are ones to admire. I’m not sure the angle Britney Spears is going to be judging at but I know because of her this show will PULL in the ratings.

Looking into the future of the show, Demi Lovato will stick around and Britney Spears will phase out, announce an album near the season finale and go off on tour. Think about how J-LO used American Idol as a platform, it’s the perfect way to build up an entirely new fan-base, stay relevant and make people like you through your charming personality.

Can’t wait to see how these two do!

Last year was the year for X-Factor! The show that was brought over from the U-K did okay over here in North America but apparently they want to start fresh. As of today, Nicole Scherzinger, host Steve Jones, and Paula Abdul have all been let go. L-A Reid and Simon Cowell are still on board. Well of course Simon is, he created it. But now we all have to sit back and wait to see who they are going to pick to replace. There are talks about Mariah Carey replacing Nicole, or maybe they will bring Cheryl Cole back?

I think that Mariah Carey should replace Paula, Cheryl Cole should replace Nicole, and as for the host…maybe Mario Lopez?

I have a huge feeling Simon is going to try to get as many big names as he can for that show, just so he can get all of us watching!

How did you like X-Factor?

Simon Cowell finally told us who the judges of his show X-Factor:US is going to be. Cheryl Cole is one of the judges and that name had some people going WHO THE HELL IS THAT. Don’t act like you didn’t say that. Ever heard of the girl-group called Girls Aloud? Cheryl got her start on the reality show called “Popstars” where the producers formed a group called “Girls Aloud”. The girls including Cheryl are STILL together and have been taking over the U-K with sold out tours and platinum albums. Cheryl judges the U-K version of X-Factor so she is not a ‘newbie’ when it comes to judging A-K-A things she is saying will actually be of use to the contestants.

Bet you didn’t know THIS about Cheryl:

Cheryl was charged in an ‘altercation’ with an African american woman. The cat fight that took place in a club made U-K tabloids because Cheryl was tagged with having a bad temper. Cheryl called her opponent a Carribean Jiggaboo, a Black Bitch and then hit her. The singer went to court for this and settled with giving the ‘Jiggaboo” (according to Cheryl) money!

Now you know.

Moving onto my favorite part about Cheryl the MUSIC! Listen and watch ‘below’ of Girls Aloud’s mega-smash hit “Sexy No No No” performed live on one of their tours.

will Nicki Minaj be judging YOU?

All this X-FACTOR buzz is upon us and with that there is still no set judging panel and no set host! Big time music industry ICON L-A Reid pulled out of his duties at Island Def Jam to judge a singing competition(I don’t know why anyone would do that…but maybe he was ‘over’ it). X-Factor is a show that Simon Cowell heads over in the U-K and now he is bringing it to the U-S. The difference between X-Factor and American Idol would include X-Factor is more of a performance competition as appose to a singing competition. For instance Lady Gaga would try out of X-Factor and Adele would be on American Idol. ANYWAYS…Nicki Minaj is in ‘discussion’ to fit judging this television show competition into her BUSY schedule. The producers want her to be on the show because she is on top of her game right now and she would be GREAT for the show.

Should she do it? Yes Nicki would be great for ANYshow…but she SHOULDN’T do it. Judge reality competition shows when your career has blown over. Jennifer Lopez is doing American Idol right now to get some extra publicity for her new music because she isn’t as hot as she use to be. (looks she is hot, I was talking musically…how you doin’ J-Lo?). Nicki Minaj IS on top of her game right but she should stay right there and make new music, videos and tour!

Do you think Nicki should judge it? It would be HILARIOUS, but…I want more music!

Last night I was one of the TWENTY SIX million people watching the premiere of American Idol Season 10. As I mentioned before, Simon Cowell’s contract ended last Season so they brought on Jennifer Lopez and Steve Tyler to take over. I didn’t mind them being there at all! Yes I did miss Simon’s funny remarks like when he told one girl to fire her singing coach. Instead of the judges making you laugh for the last 9 seasons…this seasons the entertainment is relying solely on the contestants. Jennifer Lopez is like the new Paula Abdul of the bunch because she just can’t say no to people. Steve Tyler is NOTHING like Simon however his random outbreaks of high pitch screamo sounding shrieks make him worth watching.

Unfortunately though it seems to me that America is going to get bored of these three judges VERY quickly. I guess it IS a good thing that it is their last season!

Highlight of last nights episode: I wanted to show you this audition of this guy name Yoji-Pop Asano. He believes he was Michael Jackson out of the womb and he hates Miley Cyrus. Yet he chose to sing her song in the audition. He is officially the new William Hung

I see big things for this guy.
