A perfect song for a hump day! Kay is full of fun colours, raps and BLONDE-NESS. The song about taking a song “she heard off the street” and rapping about lemonadium has becoming another song I have on repeat. RIGHT after I interviewed her Kay put this single out, and I was SO MAD! The song is just SO GOOD!

and yes, the song also features a didgeridoo. I’m so excited to hear her album coming out in the summer. She isn’t sacrificing herself to the typical pop radio. She is putting a different spin on things.

Holy Britney Spears, Victoria Duffield is being dubbed the next big pop star out there. Watching her new video for “Feel” was like watching a Britney classic. I can’t help but notice the similarities. The wind blows, you have amazing coreography and a catchy corus!

While your gearing up for the weekend, this song will help you do it!

Enjoy your weekend :)

To celebrate Adele and all of her Grammy wins, here is one of the most touching songs off of her album ’21′ called Turning Tables. The song is about being in a relationship that just hurts to be in.

One of Adele’s classic break-up songs!

Happy Monday!

Oh did you forget she made music? Seems like a lot of people did after she turned the Superbowl into the Fingerbowl! My song of the day is M.I.A.’s song Galang. I don’t even know what Galang means but the hints of reggae through out the song is enough to keep my vibin’ on a Thursday!

We’ve almost made it to the WEEKEND!

So I sent out a blast of what the “song of the day” should be and this is what you chose!

Well obviously you guys are having a frisky Wednesday! Thanks to Kiran Bhoday, Steph Munoz, Coco M, and Cristina Lucarelli for choosing today’s very hump-a-licious songs of the day!

song of the day: DMX – Party Up

Although everyone disagrees with me when I saw DMX is awesome, I’m pretty sure you can’t deny my when I saw THIS SONG IS AWESOME. The song that had us all ‘losing our minds’ about a decade ago came back to haunt me today. I’m jamming to it right now.

HAPPY TUESDAY, DMX-STYLE!

FEEL GOOD MUSIC for a hangover Monday! The day after the Superbowl is never fun but Enrique’s manufactured pop-music that I LOVE will be the theme song of today.

This song was HUGE when I was in Grade 8, and instead of being a stupid hoe…you could have been called a Freek-A-Leek. There are still plenty of Freek-A-Leek’s that roam the clubs at night, but that’s what makes a night out so much fun! Gearing up for the weekend, I needed something to jam to and this was the song. Plus the lyrics “Earring in her tounge, and she know what she doin’ wid it” is awesome.

Have a great weekend!

Marianas Trench’s album Ever After is one of the best concept album I have ever heard. All the songs linked together to tell a great story, and lead vocalist Josh Ramsay sounds better then he ever has. The band chose this song as their next single, and although it kind of sounds like Alyssa Reid’s “Talk Me Down”, or more similar to Katy Perry’s “E.T”…it speaks volumes!

Happy Groundhog Day!

One year ago today this song was released for digital download officially on iTunes. Looking back at how much this song impacted the rap game, who would have thought. The catchy lyrics like “yellow model chicks, yellow bottle sippin’”, “she wax it on and off” and Busta Rhymes incredible verse make this song one of the best rap songs ever. The beat that is produced by Diplo is as infectious as the song it’s self!

Happy Hump Day, LEGGO!

Well I guess you could say I’m feeling the island vibe today. While thinking about what song would suit a day like today. It’s COLD outside but the sun is shining…it’s Monday, we needed something uplifting. This song with by reggae artists Courtney John signify’s being so in love that their are no holidays, breaks, or vacations. John’s falsetto voice reminds us fella’s to be thankful for the beautiful women in our life and to be thankful.

Happy Listening!
