My song of the day easily has one of the best produced beats on the radio right now. While most songs are going to their electronics dub-step subculture’s for influence. The David Guetta produced track kept more of a reggae/soca vibe for this track called Pass At Me. Pass at Me wasn’t a huge hit but I will say that it’s one of the most underated songs that hit the radio. The video isn’t much, we have the same old party scene but it’s the song what makes it!

Happy Birthday Aaliyah!

The most missed angel from this earth Aaliyah would have been celebrating a birthday today. The singer who died in a tragic plane crash still haunts us with her memorable spirit up to this day. Aaliyah would have been thirty and we continue to celebrate her music!

I was reminded that it was her birthday through a tweet Timbaland sent “@Timbaland happy birthday aaliyah babygirl i miss you”.

We miss her too!

Below are 5 of my favorite Aaliyah songs…

Demi Lovato just KILLIN’ it!

H O L D U P! Demi Lovato just brought a whole new game to the industry with her new single “All Night Long”. Not only is the beat a Timbaland classic but Missy Elliot spits a rap that makes your legs quiver. (I know that’s a little bit weird, but think “Get Ur Freak On”)

The song talks about the chase of getting someone to like you. From the putting the number in your phone, to eye-ing them up…this song explains the process on one of the sickest beats right now. Only only will this song blow up on radio but I feel like it’s going to SKY ROCKET Demi Lovato’s album sales.

Listen because I know you won’t regret it. It’s catchy, pop and just what Demi needs to prove everyone she is here to stay. Haters ain’t got nothin’ on her.

Have your friends ever bailed on you when you wanted to go to the club? Are you wondering where I am going with this? DAVID GUETTA just released a new album called “Nothing but the Beat” and it’s nothing but FULL of HITS. As my brother said to me “YO, this album is FULL OF BANGERS”. A ‘banger’ is something that can be either overplayed on the radio or overplayed in the club.

So here are the bangers that you should listen to of Guetta’s latest:

Turn Me On feat Nicki Minaj:  The majority of the song has Nicki Minaj singing all the verses and chorus and it’s kind of pleasent. I mean it’s no Superbass but I can see how this would do well in the club. For those of you who listen and realise that you prefer Nicki rapping…wait until the end.

I Can Only Imagine feat Chris Brown & Lil’ Wayne: But TWO off hip-hops hottest stars on a tracks can you come out with a track that might carry over to NEXT summer. The electro beats with Chris Brown’s voice seem to be a match made in heaven. Think Beautiful people on crack.

I Just Want To F feat Timbaland & Dev: Who doesn’t love Dev on a track? Her smooth vocals play a character in this track challenging Timbaland to you know…F. It’s like a new Promiscuious (Nelly Furtado) with a sick beat and DEV.

Go.Get.The.ALBUM! It’s a MUST!
