My Community is Durham Co-Host/Reporter/Producer ( May 2010 – August 2010)

This show is my most recent job I did with Rogers! This show was when I got to do it all. On top of Reporting and Hosting I got to shoot, edit and produce my own stories. From a student with cerebral palsy to a witch, I got to meet so many people that have daily struggles and just want to celebrate and live their lives! (sayin ayoooo’) Everyone has a story and I was able to capture it through this show!

2010 MuchMusic Video Awards Wrangler (June 18th – 20th 2010)

Keep in touch with your contacts is all I have to say! The 2010 MMVA’s came around and I got to work with Katy Perry’s entourage! It was a CRAZY experience, I was constantly freaking out (in my head). I met so many celebrities I didn’t even know what to do with myself. I was in charge of getting the talent from their dressing rooms to the stage on time! So much work goes into this award show each year it is absolutely fantastic.

Much News Top Shockers of 09′ Talent (December 24th 2009)

Although I had to audition to be an Aftershow Friend, the MuchMusic audition to get on this show was crazy. They put me in front of a camera and said “What to you think about so and so..”.  I just talked and talked and talked with the hopes of getting on the show. It was my first time getting face-time on MUCH, and I couldn’t have been happier because as most of you know working at MUCH/MTV is a DREAM JOB for me. Also for some reason I said “it’s all about the GAGA” haha of course I did.

Durham Dining Restaurant Reporter (July 2009 – August 2009)

DURHAM DINING!!! This made my summer before going into college one of the most memorable. I went to various restaurants in the Durham area to interview chefs and cook with them in their kitchen. The show aired right up until 2010 and the best part was getting the viewer response! Last year on my birthday I was at the grocery store and some lady came up to me and was like O M G your from Durham Dining! and she HUGGED ME!! IT was awesome!

MTV Canada Aftershow Friend (May 2009)

This was an awesome experience, here I was 17 on MTV. Couldn’t believe it! First time I got my make-up done (which was as weird as it sounds) and I got to sit on the couch with Dan and Jessi. We talked about American Idol…and some other randomness. To check it out, click on the picture!

New Years Eve live at the GM Center Reporter ( December 31st 2008)

The pressure was on when I was asked to report L I V E from the GM center in Oshawa. I was still in the midst of doing High School Rush so I guess I had SOME experience under my belt, but nothing LIVE before. I was so scared. The night turned out to be a success and lucky for me I got to do interviews with all of the acts throughout the show. I was backstage with a MIC and Camera….I was a little TOO excited!

High School Rush Reporter (October 2008 – March 2009)

This is where it all started, through my co-op at Rogers I was asked to be on this show called High School Rush. This was the first time I was ever on TV. The cool thing about this show that it was just a bunch of random high school students reporting on stories and having fun. Doing interviews, doing stand-ups and as you can see in the picture to the left…getting the !@$# scared out of me. It was full of good times!
